Inden Mobile Monday-arrangementet inviterer Nokia til Qt træning. Som MoMo-medlem er du velkommen at deltage i workshoppen.

Beskrivelse:

I forbindelse med af udviklingsværktøjet Qt 4.7 og Qt Quick inviterer Nokia igen i år til Qt træning hos Nokia Danmark. Temaet for denne træning er Qt Quick, et nyt værktøj der gør det mere simpelt og let at lave flot og iøjnefaldende UI til apps til Nokia Smartphones. Dette event er blevet afholdt over hele Norden, og kommer nu endelig til Danmark den 17. maj 2011.

Ved dette event kan du også få god mulighed for at blive bedre bekendt med udvikling af apps til Nokias forskellige platforme, nye API inkluderet i den nye version af Qt, og hvordan udvikling af apps med Qt adskilder sig fra andre mobile platforme.

Mobile Monday og Nokia

Temaet er “Udvikling af mobil software”, og vi vil kigge lidt nærmere på de mange(!) alternativer, som findes på markedet i dag.

Jayway, Mobiletech og 3 står i spidsen for arrangementet, og deler ud af erfaringer, gode som dårlige, med de forskellige teknologier.

Endomondo løb med sejren, da Mobile Monday i går aftes afholdt AppCircus konkurrencen om ”Danmarks bedste mobilapplikation”. Der var over 25 applikationer tilmeldt konkurrencen, og i går aftes var feltet skåret ned til de 12 bedste fra virksomheder som Copenhagen Airports, Jayway og Nykredit.

Virksomhederne kæmpede om danmarksmesterskabet, der samtidigt gav mulighed for nominering til at blive blandt de 20 virksomheder, som skal deltage i den internationale konkurrence for mobilapplikationer på Mobile World Congress i Barcelona til februar 2011.

Med Endomondos applikation kan man anvende sin mobil som en personlig coach for løb, cykling og andre sportsgrene. Man kan konkurrere mod vennerne, og Endomondo giver real time tracking af tid, distance, hastighed og højde. Hertil får du et kort, der viser din rute og en oversigt over tidligere træningsforløb og ruter. Over 1,3 millioner mennesker fra hele verden har indtil nu downloadet Endomondos applikation.

Mette Lykke, en af stifterne af Endomondo, stod for præsentationen til konkurrencen, og fik som vinder overrakt diplomet for ”Danmarks bedste mobilapplikation”.

”Kåringen som ”Danmarks bedste mobilapplikation” betyder rigtigt meget for en virksomhed som vores. Vi håber også på at blive shortlistet til den internationale konkurrence i Barcelona, da det vil give os større synlighed på den internationale scene. Mobile World Congress i Barcelona er den største og vigtigste begivenhed i mobilbranchen, og vi havde på forhånd planlagt at være tilstede i Barcelona for at finde nye samarbejdspartnere som fx operatører og producenter”, udtaler Mette Lykke.

”Jeg synes, det var et spændende felt, der var med til konkurrencen i går. Der var mange kompetente og innovative applikationsudviklere, der gjorde konkurrencen interessant og spændende”, fortæller Per Henriksen, chef for kommunikationsvirksomheden Frontal, der står bag Mobile Monday og også medlem af den jury, som udpegede den danske vinder, efter at publikum havde givet deres stemmer.

Konkurrencen blev afholdt i forbindelse med Mobile Monday Copenhagen – et netværk for aktører i den mobile branche. Bag netværket står kommunikationsvirksomheden Frontal. AppCircus i København blev sponsoreret af CSC.

Endomondo er en dansk virksomhed, som siden sin start i 2007 har oplevet kæmpe vækst i antallet af brugere af deres mobilapplikation. Se mere på http://www.endomondo.com

Det er lagt op til en spændende konkurrence, når tretten innovative applikationsudviklere dyster om titlen ”Danmarks bedste mobilapplikation” i AppCircus den 6. december.

Sammen med publikum stemmer juryen frem en endelig vinder – Danmarks bedste app.

AppCircus finder sted i omkring 30 byer verden over. Blandt alle de lokale vinderne vælger en international jury 20 udviklere, der får lov til at demonstrere sin applikation på Mobile World Congress i Barcelona i februar.

Konkurrencen afholdes i forbindelse med Mobile Monday Copenhagen. Bag netværket står kommunikationsvirksomheden Frontal. AppCircus i København sponsoreres af CSC, og finder sted på Ordnung.

UN’s Climate Change Conference (COP15) in December 2009 and the yearly returning Copenhagen Fashion Week in August 2010 were two major events in Copenhagen in the last year. During the next MobileMonday you will learn more about how mobile applications have been used to help the guests and spotlight the city in connection with the events – and how mobile services in general are used to promote Copenhagen as a destination.

The event will take place at “Det Ny Teater”, starting at 16.00. As usual there will be time for networking and some refreshments.

16.00: Mobile media to COP15 and Copenhagen Fashion Week - Ole Kjær Mansfeldt, Wonderful Copenhagen (with input from project partners)
The innovation project “Events and mobile media” has produced mobile applications to two of Denmark’s largest events. Wonderful Copenhagen will share their knowledge and experience about how mobile media are used, revealing facts from user studies and user-driven innovation processes as well as facts and figures.

16.50: The mobile application “CPH Airport” - Anne Birkeby, Copenhagen Airport
Online editor Anne Birkeby from Copenhagen Airport will share the findings on how the new application was launched in July 2010, and how it was received.

17.10: Mobile applications from Politikens Travel Guides - Søren Sattrup, Politikens Forlag
Publisher Søren Sattrup from Politikens Forlag will share his experiences with mobile applications such as “Turen går til København”(The Travel Guide to Copenhagen) and “Smagen af København” (The Taste of Copenhagen).

17.30: Ideas for future mobile media – intensive workshop
Before snacks and drinks, we will facilitate an intensive half-hour workshop where all participants are invited to brainstorm and come up with great ideas for future mobile media in, to and for Copenhageners as well as the city’s guests.

Cepa Mobility, the winner of the Danish Mobile Premier Awards, is announced to be one of the 20 finalists in the global MobileMonday competition. The finalists were chosen by an international jury of the most recognized mobile industry experts who will pitch their idea, application or project at the Mobile Premier Awards event that takes place in Barcelona, at the Petit Palau of Palau de la Musica on February 15, 2010 in front of investors, operators, media companies, peer entrepreneurs, and press and influential bloggers.

Ved dette års Mobile Premier Awards, der blev afholdt på ITU, blev Cepa Mobility kåret som vinder. Cepa Mobility hjælper fysisk handikappede i kørestol ved at udvikle letbetjenelige mobiltelefoner, så folk med fysiske handikaps kan holde kontakten med familie og venner.

Cepa Mobility bliver med sejren i Danmark indstillet til at være blandt de tyve virksomheder, der skal kæmpe om titlen som årets bedste mobil-idé ved Mobile World Congress i Barcelona senere i år.

The MobileMonday competition Mobile Premier Award 2010 is now officially open for submissions.  Danish innovators in the MoMo-community are encouraged to sign up.

Mobile Premier Award is a yearly contest for the most innovative startups within mobile solutions in Denmark. The event is hosted by MobileMonday Copenhagen on the 11^th of January 2010, where eight startups will present their products or concepts for a jury and the local audience.

The MobileMonday Copenhagen winner will be listed together with the nominees from other MobileMonday chapters and participate in the international contest. A jury will choose the 20 finalists that will present their solutions at the Mobile Premier Award Event on the 15^th of February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Rules for the participants
Only startups can be nominated to the award. In this case a startup is a company with limited operating history, generally newly created and in a phase of development and research for markets. All submissions must fulfill two bare-minimum requirements:
a) that it is an organization, not an individual, that applies
b) that it has a unique URL describing its activity/project/product/service.

From the nominated companies, eight will be selected to pitch in front of a local jury and MobileMonday Copenhagen audience at the event on the 11 of January.
